Is it weird/normal to want muscles when your a girl.

Ok, I am a 25 year old woman. I am short and slim. Very petite in all areas.
Basically I have started working out and I really love the thought of muscle. I love that my biceps are showing and that my legs are getting stronger etc. Its making me feel more confident.
I have Whey powder (people are so uneducated about whey powder its unreal) basically its protein... Protein is the building blocks of life. People auto assume that I am going to end up like Arnold Swat.. (can't spell that word) but woman can't get huge as they don't have testosterone. Unless they take steriods of course.
So Is it weird that I want to have female muscle, that I want to feel strong. I don't like the whole female can't carry anything heavy thing. I like to be able to do things. I don't see any point in labels. Either Gender, age or Religious etc. As soon as anyone knows that they generally make assumptions about you.
So is it normal?

  • It is normal for women to be normally a little smaller than men, so there is a big misconception about the strength of women, or their height, or jobs they can have, etcetera. I get angry about people who are sexist, especially women who believe in the sexist comments. Trust me, it's kind of strange, but I'm just going to say this, please stay feminine and beautiful... Because I have seen women who have gone overboard with the female muscles thing.

Just BTW, I'm a woman, and I mean this is the nicest of ways.

    Love,

  • Its probably a good idea to have some muscles for when you are carrying loads of laundry to and fro from the laundry room or carrying groceries when you go out to the food store. Plus some pots and pans can get pretty heavy with food in them, and you wouldnt want to bother a man (who could easily lift it) with doing it so having some muscles is probably a good idea.
