Is it weird im christan but dont get along well with church poeple?

I was riased a christain but I do not do so good at church . I always feel akward and sinful going to church becuase im thinking about oh that new vampire film came out , or that innapriopiote gay joke I heard on tv or something like that and feel scarred to talk to anyone . I do not know I get along better with the freaks everyone hates and will never talk to but at churches I feel bored , confused , out of place . Is this normal ?

    VERY normal.
    You are suppose to feel sinful and bad, that's the point.
    Once you actually accept that, you will see how bad everyone is and judge them accordingly.

    There is another option, get out of that foolish backward fear loving, shameful place; and hopefully get back into reality.

    As my pastor says. "Church is a hospital for sinners, not a rest home for saints". Nobody is perfect. If everyone is judging you at your church then you should find a new church to attend. We should encourage our fellow christian friends to live righteous, but you shouldn't be ashamed to be yourself or to feel guilty for watching a vampire movie. I like vampire movies!!     Well if you feel like you have to be perfect in order to fit in there, then it's understandable why you don't fit in.

    Also, I don't get how thinking about a new vampire film could ever be seen as a sin.

    You don't have to go to church to be Christian or believe in God. Most organized churches are just stealing your money anyway. Talk to God alone in your room like it says in the bible and don't worry about going to church. Sitting in church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than sitting in a garage makes you a car.

      What school do you go where they do that ? None of them did it at my school they talk none stop in biology about it which was agrivating becuase you can not concentrate but no one did In my school .

              Getting what "information"?

              It's common knowledge that most public schools aren't allowed to teach about religion. Private can, but it has to be a religious school.

              Thats not legal here unless its private school or else itsencouraged to respect everyone and thier own beliefs . I do not know what area of the world you live in but that is against the law here . They only do that in private school but you pay for private school .However I do not know what country you are from thats against the law here .

    No, nothing weird about it. I'd like to go to church more often, but not on Sundays. Usually I'd rather come and pray alone.

    Im Christian and i make my own rules i dont follow the bible athleast not much sins for me are something like stealing doing drugs and such not watching horror movies..
