Several teacher/lecturer friends of mine won't put their real name on facebook because they don't want kids contacting them because they feel it puts them in an awkward position where they always will feel the need to ensure their pages remain completely without reproach. That, and they don't want kids knowing all about their private life.
Is it weird if I add my past teacher on Facebook?
