Is it unprofessional to wear icyhot at work

I have a pinched nerve and TMJ, so I’m in chronic pain. Advil doesn’t have lasting so relief, and I’ve found IcyHot to work wonders.

However, today I was bitched out by the fat secretary that not only should I stop using it, but to wash it off.

I’m obviously not doing this to be rude and I’d much rather work while not in pain, and really f-u Glenda. But yet I hate to think I’m unprofessional.

What do you think?

Ask her if she has a pen and tell to fuck off back to it

Is chubby Glenda the sole arbiter of what is and isn't acceptable at your place of work?

She has a right to her opinion, but if she's not above you in the work hierarchy, then that's all it is: merely her point of view.

The important question is whether the people above you in the hierarchy are understanding and supportive. If not, then it would be wise for you to seek out a fragrance-free solution to your chronic pain.
