I was reading about how Japanese men and women have both given up on the other gender. I also read that is has become such a problem Japan declared a state of emergency.
Now I always question everything I read as a lot of things you read are rubbish. This is why I am asking this question. I thought maybe someone here knows or even lives in Japan.

They're not giving up on each other, but the women are giving up the traditional roles . Like it's "cool" to become a single, independent, & successful business woman. Also, it's not helpful that the young males there ( in other E Asian countries as well ) look too damn feminine with those Rosie ODonell & that mom from Kate & 8 old haircut . Also the overtweezing bs is stupid . Just clean up to prevent a damn scary looking monobrow but avoid the arching it like chicks do. Straight men should look like men if they want to score with the opposite sex. That's what my Japanese female friend said. Like Russell Peters says "Hey! Do the right thing -be a MAN!"
Yes, I think women need to learn how to be a LADY! also. While a lot of men can be bad in other countries there are a lot of truly awful women that treat men like total rubbish and then wonder why men won't date them.
