  • You won't lol. If keto works for weight loss then stay on it. You don't need it to pose weight though so I wouldn't recommend it. It will not increase your cancer risk however, and getting fat will definitely increase cancer risk!

    • I researched a lot of stuff and I've come to the realization no one really knows very much about the effects of high fat diets (no one with widespread credibility). The FDA until recently recommended low fat diets and said that olive oil is unhealthy. But recently the FDA put on their website that olive oil is healthy. They change the guidelines a lot. Until recently they also recommended sugar cereal every day. One thing is for sure since they have recommended low fat/high sugar diets obesity has sky rocketed.

      • Fat/carb distribution within a diet does not have a significant effect on mortality! More protein tends to be better and obviously things like fiber, vitamins and antioxidants but really just eat low calorie and decent protein and your probably doing pretty well.

          • Define "high calorie". High when I say it means relative to ones maintinence calories. 4000 is high for a 120 pound sedentary woman buy not for a 260 pound active Male with above average muscle mass.

            • I dont do the calorie counting. I just eat hogh fat foods and as much as I feel like. Right now im cooking green beans with a shit ton of butter and salt. The calorie content is probably high but its ok. Im also cooking hamburger patties in butter with salt and cheese on top. Thats a super high calorie meal (i think) but its all good.
