I met my husband on POV, and although he's rather shy/socially awkward lol he is the best man I've ever met!! If it wasn't for online dating we would probably have never met and if we had have he probably wouldn't have had the courage to make a pass... I personally like the idea, I think you are less likely to settle for less or comprise on things important to you because there's no click at first, when I've met guys in real life, I hit it of well but there has been something important missing from their character or personality and I had accepted them anyway because we already hit it of,then realised it was a big thing to compromise on. online though, you can just decide to stop messaging each other and keep looking, you're more likely to find a good match.with your brain and not those silly emotions we all get in the beginning of a relationship But yes there are tons of weirdos... these weirdos are in the real world too though, they just don't have "behind a computer confidence" so are better at hiding it or keeping up a mirage.. keep trying, and try not to take it to heart, maybe mr right just hasn't signed up to it yet, who knows about tomorrow though... just keep safe and ignore the weirdos
