Is it strange that the story of the man in the iron mask turns me on?

For those who don’t know the story is about a cruel King who imprisons his twin brother in an iron mask to protect his throne. Some people help him escape and Louis is put into the mask instead. I think it’s the comeuppance element of it that turns me on so much. And his frustration that he can’t persuade the guards he’s the King and therefore let him out.
