Is it rude to call someone gay who is gay?

    Depends what stage they are in. A fully realised, out of the closet gay would probably take no offence and just shrug it off after all their principles are in pride. One that is still closeted, it would be poor judgement and timing to announce it.

      I did not say announce it. I said ask them if they are telling you about it.

        Ok well it should be pretty obvious they are if theyre telling you about it I I'm not sure why you'd need to ask
