If you just don't want to discuss it that's fine, but your answer looks like you simply don't have a sound basis for your opinion. That too is fine, you can hold an opinion that appeals to you on an emotional level and that's okay, but I am sincerely curious as to why you're condemning it out of hand.
I'm not eager to engage in such a relationship but if the argument about consenting adults holds water it must apply across the board, this is the basis for my conclusion. This is the reason I don't have a problem with homosexuality, polyandry, bdsm activities, or any number of other things that consenting adults want to do together.

In my opinion, it's important for children to grow up in a "safe" environment, one where they aren't sexualized, and can establish relationships with family members that are not sexual in nature. It's important to have relationships in life that are safe in the sense that they are void of sexuality, relationships where people are valued as a human being and not a sexual object (if that makes sense).
I know we're talking adults in this situation, before you point that out...but if incest were to become a socially accepted norm, what would stop brothers experiencing puberty from sexualizing their sisters, fathers from sexualizing their daughters....(and the same would apply to males).
If incest was a socially acceptable norm, I personally would never feel as if I had a safe place to be.
This "safe environment" thing is interesting. It would seem if children are around anything sexual that you'd consider it "not safe". How would you go about engineering children from never being exposed to anything sexual. Walk through the little girls clothing area of stores like Target or Walmart and you can find thongs being marketed to pre-pubescent girls. Why would they need that? There are so many opportunities for children to be exposed to things that are sexual I can't imagine how you think you could stop it, or what some adult couple without any children around has to do with your "think of the children" argument.

There's a difference between parents teaching their child where babies come from and showing their child where babies come from...can you guess which one would totally scar someone for fucking life?
Yeah, to be honest I have a problem with most of that except homosexuality. I just don't feel the need to back up my opinions, because opinions are subjective. I don't owe anyone, especially people like OP who do things that nauseate me and much of society, an explanation.
I believe incest is especially heinous, because of the risk of birth defects. I don't believe in a woman's right to murder her unborn child when the incest was of her own free consent. I'm not here to argue abortion either, but there's nothing okay with incest. The congenital health problems of so called royals throughout the ages speak for themselves.
I'm tired of this anything goes for the sake of tolerance attitude in our society.
What if the woman, for whatever reason, is unable to conceive and therefore there won't be a child produced from this activity, the same as with homosexuality. Essentially, what if you remove the possibility of children with birth defects (though I think I addressed this adequately already), does that change anything?
I'm a little confused about the problem with tolerance. Personally, I don't "tolerate" it as such, I just don't care what consenting adults do with each other, so I'm at a loss for why it bothers you.
