It is genuinely more difficult to tell people who aren’t your own race apart of you grew up in a homogenous area, it doesn’t mean you are racist.

Idk if they've had plastic surgery or not(they're celebrities/idols, a boy group partially marketed by their looks, and it's Korea so chances are through the roof I'm sure)but certain features are the "ideal". So it makes sense that pretty much anywhere they'd get plastic surgery from, would make their faces look as close to the current beauty standard/current most popular features as they can possibly get

Which would explain why someone could think they all look the same

There's also other things to consider like the fact that dating outside your own race is less common or sometimes frowned upon in other countries

(so there's more people making babies with people who share same features as them opposed to other countries where there's more people making babies with people who have different features than they do.. Creating a "more unique" combination of features in their offspring)

So it's likely that a large portion of the people in each of their family trees, all have similar features to one another

They're all kinda similar to each other to start with, and if the beauty standard was to mold all those shapes to be as close to a circle as possible then they'd all look almost like circles
(though, it would be a different result if you started with a triangle shape for instance. Which I guess is kind of why people who are not naturally born with typical Korean features, who try to achieve those features through plastic surgery, don't turn out looking like them). Meaning they'd all look pretty much the same(like they're all trying to be circles) to people who don't see each of their faces often enough to tell them apart

Sometimes people can't even tell siblings(of people who share their same race/country of origin) apart but no one is calling them racist. It's just viewed as grandpa not being able to tell the grandkids he hardly ever sees apart¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have no idea which people are even in BTS. They're some kind of a k-pop group aren't they? I thought only 12 year olds with a fetisch for everything asian listened to them. It seems to be a trend nowadays to be obsessessed with k-pop and japan, tokyo, korea all those places. I don't see the appeal personally. Seems like a look at me i'm so quirky uwu - thing.

This reminds me of a conversation that I heard. This person asked his Asian friends about some Chinese class he was told by a friend that they were going to. They insisted that that was racist of him. It really wasn't.
