It's normal. Your preferences are simply that - a preference.
It might be because as you say you are surrounded by white people.
There was a time I was not attracted to Asian women at all (I am now though since travelling a lot). In hindsight it was because I didn't know any Asian women or had not met any I liked. In hindsight I can admit I had a kind of unconscious racism going on although I would have denied it at the time.
Is it racist for me to usually only be attracted to one race?
