Since age 26 is several years into adulthood (past the school age, usually with at least a few years of real world/work experience) and a person's brain is already developed by that age, I would say no. It is not the same as say, an 18 or 19-year-old who has next to zero life experience, is barely out of high school, and is much more naive and impressionable (and also usually more dependent) than your average 26-year-old.
