Is it possible to find a girl who's waiting until marriage anymore?

I'm from a culture that... well, most consider us rather prudish, but really it's that we consider commitment to be of the utmost importance. Waiting for marriage, only marrying the one you intend to be with for the rest of both your lives, etc. Meanwhile we live in a country that's becoming more and more... relaxed about it. Sure, that means many good things, like actually being able to talk a bit about this stuff and not immediately be called a complete creeper, or for couples to experiment a bit, but I can't say I've gotten to know anyone well enough to know if there's anyone who's a bit of both...

You think it's possible for a guy to find a girl who's willing to wait until marriage AND to try some more unusual things after that point?

    Usually very devout Christians (Catholics in particular) wait until marriage, I'd suggest you use some sort of dating sight and put that down as a requirement... There's also this thing called a purity ring, people who where those are saying that they're waiting until marriage to "do the deed"

    I totally believe in waiting until marriage. But being that I have no friends and have never had a boyfriend at age 20, I feel that that might be a deal breaker and make things even harder for me. Am I just being in over my head or am I being realistic?

    I respect your beliefs but I also really feel sorry for anyone who really thinks that love and sex completely coincide. You could find the love of your life!! And they could be so awful and boring in bed. Then what? Be unhappy for the rest of your life and in fur filled?People might say sex isn't important but it is, it's part of our build ups,,it's more then a desire, it's a need. After you have done it once it really does become a need. I wish you the best of luck that you find both but you will need a Lot of luck indeed!!

    I knew a born again christian couple who waited. Her husband was completely impotent, which was obviously a shock. They used to pray every night for an erection but it never happened. I think it's great to wait but you should sleep together once engaged to make sure you are compatible.

        Adoption, probably. They could just want to share their bank account with their BFF too I guess? I dunno, if you're not into raising family or sex, pretty much all the advantages of marriage are those government stuff.
