Of course. Just because they hate "race x" doesn't mean they won't hate "race y".
Some may even have a friend or two from the race they hate.
It could be somewhat like a 'beard' - a token friend who the person can use to claim they're not racist cos they have a friend who's that race.
Or... it's also possible the person isn't actually racist. Some people are biased against socioeconomic groups rather than race - but others often try assuming it means race anyway so that they may label that person as a racist ... often as an attempt to ignore that person's views.
