    This. Intramural sports gives you a reason to be there, so you won't seem desperate, and will let you make connections. Eventually connections lead to friends and friends of friends, and all of a sudden you increased your circle of people who know you.

    We would much rather date someone who is known, even by tangent, than a complete stranger in a bar.

    Plus you get fit 😊
