I develop a thick layer of dead skin and its relieving to cut it off before sanding down my feet
I heard that was banned in salons for being too dangerous, so be careful when doing it.
Yeah, I think only podiatrists are allowed to do this now.
It's ok as long as you're careful. You're better off dry sanding before a bath, then wet sanding in the bath, and then slathering on the moisturiser and trapping it in cotton socks. No chance of cutting yourself this way
Or get a podiatrist to do it. They know how to doit safely and have super strong grindy shit.
This was okay to read
I don't have that problem. I'm a guy and have feet like babies skin on my feet.
This reminds me, I forgot to flay my feet in the shower this evening, as my customs ought dictate.
I've cut off calluses with a knife and smoothed out the rest of the area with sandpaper, before taking a bath. It's an annoying thing and I definitely don't want to spend 30 bucks on a foot treatment thing, when I can do the same with household tools.
