90% of the time, gynecomastia(man boobs) isn't caused by being fat, but by abnormally large breast glands. For someone with man boobs, this is BEYOND THEIR CONTROL. Scientists still don't really understand why it happens because it even happens to men who have perfectly balanced hormones. Unless you're just incredibly fat, telling someone with man boobs that they should just exercise DOESN'T HELP AT ALL because it won't work to shrink the glands. The only way to remove man boobs is through plastic surgery, which can be very expensive.
So please keep this in mind the next time you feel like making some retarded comment about how someone with moobs should just lift weights. Since many people with man boobs actually know why they have them, comments like that literally sound retarded.
P.S. Having man boobs is very normal and millions of people have them. If you have gynecomastia, I can't tell you not to feel ashamed, but remember that there are many people like you(some who have moobs are worse than you might).
