    I'm just wondering what your relationship was like BEFORE you got married?

    This sounds like an arranged marriage - or else there are things that you are not telling us.
    Does she hate you coz she's over-worked slaving for you?
    Is she ill?
    Do you have children?

    This is very strange in the early days of marriage.
