Is it normal wishing to stay in your dreams?

I keep dreaming about beautiful nightmares and weird daydreams. Today I dreamed of the dream version of me having conversation with a very familiar person though he has a blurry face. He's the only one I can remember even after I woke up I keep thinking about him and it's actually making me curious. I was going to ask if I can use the gym to use the practice dummy so I could pour all my anger to it, and he smiled, a very familiar smile and said, "Why would you want to use the gym in the middle of the night?"

"Anything wrong about it?"

"No, not all, I can escort you too!"

And my dream was cutt off there because I was awoken by my stepmom.

Now that's not the only weird thing about the dream, because the guy was one of the boys I call 'Brothers-- a friendly endearment I once used to my boy buddies' who I partnered with to do bloody missions and really weird missions such as playing basketball while flying and doing ninja moves-- but seriously intense games. Now this dreams often gets cutt off in the best part and it's really annoying. I wish I could stay a little longer and have more vivid dreams.

It's it normal that I had a dream earlier in the week that I was an Indian Hindu deva with powers. It was weird.
