She's insecure - I had a gf like this - wouldn't let me have friends, didn't like me to be friends with her family, always wanted to know who I was talking to etc Did my head in! Got outta that one in the end...You need to find out why she's so insecure and help her get over this.
My wife is like this, but she only became this way after marriage. It's driving me bonkers, and I'm trying to get her to work on it, because if she can't...well...things won't end well.
To the OP, some wives I guess are like this, it's annoying, and I hope it doesn't end up as big of a problem as it is in my world.
The question you need to ask her is whether she is satisfied with her life and, if she isn't, what needs to change in order to make her happy. Work on that because if she isn't happy she's going to make you miserable for a long time. However, some women (and men!) are never happy with their lot no matter how much they have, maybe because the are very competitive between each other. Women like that are never good for marriage.
