Your heart needs to pump blood upwards to get it to your brain. Getting up quickly will result in downwards force in your blood relative to your body from the inertia (resistance to movement).
The dizziness is a result of your brain temporarily getting less blood and therefore less oxygen.
It could also be a sign of low blood pressure if it happens all the time. Best to get that checked, just incase.
Is it normal when you stand up and get dizzy?
