Assuming he was/is a troll don't feed it. For awhile, (in the past) I was actually fearful of writing how I felt on videos because of the reactions I got. (I did deserve it on one because, I was an atheist at the time and I bashed Christianity on an Christian chant video. Terrible of me to do so.)
Basically, don't start arguments with others if you can help it. If they want to start an argument with you, you reserve the right to end it peacefully and not instigate it further.
