i can move it it just hurts so bad even like trying to move my leg a little will hurt and ill just stand there for the minute or 2 until it goes away, this happens almost every day, my mom has diabetes snt that an autoimmune disease?
Yeah, I know the feeling you're talking about. You get it when your leg is trying to 'wake up', right? Heavy numbness in your limbs is only normal if it's really rare. By autoimmune, I meant demyelinating diseases. The only time I've felt this kind of sensation is during an exacerbation (bc I have MS) or when I hit my elbow in the perfect spot. Don't get scared because you could be perfectly healthy, but you have to be cautious; what your experiencing is neurologic and absolutely needs to be checked out. Don't listen to people that tell you this symptom is no big deal and you shouldn't see a doctor, I can guarantee you they don't know what the fuck they're talking about. If you see a neurologist or physician that refuses to do any testing because you only have one symptom or "you seem perfectly healthy to me, besides you're young", find another one.
