Are you being serious? Everyday kids are put through crap by their peers and some have even killed themselves because of the hell their lives have become.
Bullying is a problem, even if it's not reported in the news.
As for why it happens, who can say, mostly the bully needs to hurt someone else to make themselves feel better about their own insecurities but only the bully can know why they chose to hurt someone.
