Is it normal weed makes me sleepy?

I used to smoke daily before I quit and was always a big fan of Sativa because I gave me so much energy unlike Indica which would make me KO in a minute. Lately since I've started smoking aagain Sativa has made exhausted like the heaviest Indica you can find. Does anyone know why? I know the weed isn't bunk, its good sativa but it leaves me tired.

    yea homie i get hella tired when i blaze but it passes and then i go crazy and fuck shit up. it like cycles for me; sort of like theres different stages to the high. but after it all when its time to actually go to bed, i sleep like a bear and its the best sleep of my life every time.
