Are you sure?
Have you never been to the centre of a major city?
Could you survive there for more than a couple of days, without the services?
This is where we're headed.
This may be where you are headed, not me. There is no reason to believe I would need to leave my city. I've done my needs and asset mapping. And I know where the guerilla gardens are.
And if you want this to be a "world" day, you may want to acknowledge the non western world.
Right, you're going to feed millions upon millions of people, from a few small gardens, out of season. Good luck.
Did you not stop to think that the people who run the water system, the electrical system, the sewer system and the food distribution system all need food?
Our food stores are now down to dangerously low levels, and if we have one major crop failure next year (we had many this year), then at least One Billion people will starve to death.
Also, many of these people live in neighbouring countries, and when the food runs out, if they know that you still have food, they are not going to stay where they are.
You're right, it's not going to happen to you, or me, but it is happening to ALL OF US!
Did I say I was going to feed the planet? No, I will start with my community. I chose to start in my back yard, building gardens, building connections, building community.
Is it normal we should have a world no sex day?
