Is it normal we made ashtrays in elementary school?
In elementary school, for the art classes, we would sometimes get to make something out of clay (pottery) to bring home to our parents. We weren't exactly skilled youngsters, so we had a choice of making a mug, a dinosaur, or an ashtray. Usually the kids with no skills made the ashtrays.
