Is it normal waking up wanting to die?

  • I've been getting up right when I wake up the past week. :) I know what you mean. Some days if I don't get up or if I lie back down I'll stay there till late afternoon. :/

I have a job. Sometimes I go to work in a great mood (talk to all my coworkers, customers, smile, hyper) then two hours later I feel extremely depressed and anxious (can't even say hello to customers, almost have panic attacks, feel like crying for no reason, angry).

The thing is whether I'm in a good mood or bad mood I find it hard to concentrate. I sit there trying to read a book or study and I just can't.

    • That's great that there has been an improvement the past week! Be proud of yourself. You could also think about treating yourself when your day goes right.
If you are depressed, it is normal for your mood to change very quickly. Also not being able to concentrate is normal. I've been through it all before and come out the other side.
It looks like getting to the bottom of this can help you. To find out why you are depressed. Something traumatic in your past, a family history of mental health issues or a chemical inbalance of serotonin in your brain.
