LOL, fair point. But why not only allow users with high karma to upload pics? Of course, you'd have to figure out how to throw out all the multi-account trolls upvoting each other. It was never like this a few years ago, what changed? Can't you just put in email verification?
Email verification won't help. People will just create throwaway email addresses at mailinator.com and a hundred other similar services. It might slow them down a little bit, but not by much. However it would make things much less anonymous for legitimate users with private questions.
I've recently added some behind the scenes measures against the multi-troll accounts that I think will help a lot and will continue adding more. Cat & Mouse. I will win eventually.
I might make it a gold feature, but I believe that only a handful of people care about this and it doesn't add much to the site, so I'm reluctant to do it.

I'm not sure if I suggested this before, but perhaps assign a few regulars as mods so they can take down the bad posts and dick/gore pics? In exchange they can get IIN Gold for free and they'd be required to log in at least once a week? None of this is hostile and I'm not trying to suck up. I like you and the regulars on here. I can kind of see why they're frustrated and why you're frustrated. I appreciate the work youre doing and I appreciate the users on here that come here everyday.

He said he will not do this because he does not trust anyone. I would say you are one of the most trustworthy users here but I remember you saying you did not want to work that position.
What doesn't make sense is that he has said before that this site is mainly moderated by the users(in giving us power to report posts) yet he is still afraid to give anyone power to moderate the site?
Secondly the mistrust seems like a weak excuse, he trusted the other mod, and besides all it takes is getting to know this sites users in order to trust them. He could even skype interview or require something like ID verification when it comes to hiring potential mods. I know that seems like a lot of work but it's what other similar sites do.

A lot of really nice people are either angry all the time or there's people with ten accounts. Also, I miss the Upcoming(Awaiting Moderation) section and the other features here.
