I have the coil thing as contraception.. And its meant to last 5 years however i am wondering if it has messed up my insides or something as i had two periods this month and normally i am very regular & stuff and what are the chances of getting pregnant while on the coil? As i have been feeling a bit strange recently.. Please be nice ! X

    Did you just start it? It sounds normal did you get a pamphlet? Read it or go online they probably have a website. You could ask a pharmacist or your doctor.

    The coil is 98% effective. So one sexual encounter in every fifty will be effectively unprotected. Take a pregnancy test.
