That is very true! I like your logistic input on this. Wish I knew how to zone out. I might be way to cautious of my surroundings, I can't be totally relaxed when walking alone because I always feel as though someone is judging or catching an unappealing glance of me.
You're probably right to stay alert when walking on your own but when walking round the supermarket don't pay any attention to anyone else. I think I just have so many things on my mind that what other people are doing or thinking just doesn't register with me.
As I said, I sing to myself but I encourage kids to rhyme their tables. So all you need to do is find something repetitive to concentrate your mind on... then you've zoned out from other people.
Anyway, they have their own insecurities too so don't worry about them :o)
Is it normal to worry yourself sick over what people think of you?
