I think it's quite arrogant to think you're so important that everyone is looking at you and talking about you ;o)
That was just a little twisted logic for you to consider.
Seriously though, don't put yourself down. Hold your head up high coz you have as much right to breathe the air as they do. In fact, people are usually so wrapped up in their own lives that they don't notice others at all.
Here's the way I look at it.... What do I care what people think of me? I'm not asking them to pay my bills or support me so it doesn't matter if they like me or not! In truth, I tend to zone out and sing to myself so that I neither see nor hear other people and their opinions.
Good luck! Remember that confidence is very attractive!!
That is very true! I like your logistic input on this. Wish I knew how to zone out. I might be way to cautious of my surroundings, I can't be totally relaxed when walking alone because I always feel as though someone is judging or catching an unappealing glance of me.
You're probably right to stay alert when walking on your own but when walking round the supermarket don't pay any attention to anyone else. I think I just have so many things on my mind that what other people are doing or thinking just doesn't register with me.
As I said, I sing to myself but I encourage kids to rhyme their tables. So all you need to do is find something repetitive to concentrate your mind on... then you've zoned out from other people.
Anyway, they have their own insecurities too so don't worry about them :o)
Is it normal to worry yourself sick over what people think of you?
