Is it normal to worry about animal extinctions?
When is the last time anyone saw a mole? I haven't seen one for years. What if they've gone extinct? Come back, moley! Who'll eat all the worms now?

No.
NINETY FIVE PERCENT of all animals that have ever existed are already extinct. And humans aren't even to blame for that one cos it happened before we existed. Yep Mother Nature destroyed more species than we ever will.
The earth is more resilient than you realize. One species may die out but others will simply take their places. Some will evolve into new species and some will remain as they are.
Angel is right most have already gone extinct. It's a sad realisation, but all things have a life cycle. The creatures that we know might one day evolve into something else. The creatures that we once knew may be replaced at some point. Everyday, members of species die and it's not just animals that you have to worry about, it's also plants. With plants on the verge of extinction, they have seed banks. In the film Titan A.E, the Titan ship was humanity's last hope. It had the power to create a new planet and contained all the DNA of extinct animals. Maybe, science should try something like that, but if the possibility is cloning, then I'd rather leave things to nature.
