Is it normal to wonder if your friends like you?

I used to mainly hang out with a group of 6-8 girls, but I realized I had very little in common with them, so I started handing out with a group of guys. I am the only girl in the group. The group consists of 3 guys I have known for a long time (since childhood) and one I only met about 6 months ago, but I am very close with. The group seems to accept me, but also seems to function perfectly well without me, which is something I am not used to; the girls always made an effort to include everyone. I am certainly not bored/frustrated about being the only girl, but do you think they are? Or am I just being paranoid?

    When i hang out with girls, which doesnt happen often, i have the same. Always wonder if they really like me or not. But when i hang out with guys i feel accepted. Seriously girls gossip too much. And im not just talking about stereotypes. All of them do! So thats why i prefer hanging with guys. Sure they gossip too but they dont do it over the smallest stupidest things.
    Anyway its normal :p

    Probably do like you I fell the same when I hangout with my friends 10 girls I'm the only guy and am a buff guy at that so I wonder if one of them likes me cause why else woul they let me hang with them

    Relax...It was the same for me when i was younger, I to felt more comfortable hanging out with guys than girls (people call us Tomboys for that reason). Just know that with guys they just react and not think...so its nothing intentional, rather its normal. Also that said there are certain factors that they won't discuss in front of you just because you are a girl and not because they don't consider you your friend. I am not sure what your age is but if you are a teenager and/or older(and the guys too) just know that at this has nothing to do with you but rather to do with the fact that you are a girl. No matter how close you guys are they won't say or do certain things in front of you that they will do if you are not there, so as not to offend you or to make you feel uncomfortable (like voicing their fantasies about girls ect.)

    Maybe they just want to bone you and are getting frustrated that you're not putting out? That said guys are different animals then girls. I'm sure they're not leaving you out on purpose, they probably don't even think about it.
