Is it normal to wonder how the new Block feature works?

    You can now block/unblock someone from their profile page.

    Doing so will cause comments from the person you are blocking to be hidden from you when viewing posts. The reverse is also true, comments by you will not be shown to the person that you have blocked.

    You will also not be able to direct message with someone that has blocked you.

    Posts are excluded from this, because posting is anonymous and hiding posts from blocked users could reveal who has written which posts.

      How is it gonna help when the people causing problems have literally 100s of alternate accounts and keep making new ones to harass users?

          Also there is a glitch where we cannot edit our op comments (it just says delete/hide now on our own comments) and certain comments of our own on other posts cannot be removed with delete button

        My block list has been autogenerated, apparently, and consists almost exclusively of users that have been banned.

        Brilliant and so useful...
