Is it normal to wonder about stranger's lives in passing?

Often times I look at houses and I wonder who lives there. But it doesn't stop there. I wonder who they are, what they do for a living, how they dress, and what they are like in general. Sometimes, in the blink of an eye, I make up an entire life story and family for the houses I pass. Sometimes I make up the stories for random people I pass as well. I'm not trying to think of them. I just pass houses or people and it's like I'm quickly shown a movie.

  • That is your humanity showing. I do the same thing as well and knowing that I will never meet or know the people I see randomly.

  • I occasionally do that. Except it's not with houses it's just with everything that has to do with friends. I'd like to believe that one's own imagination can be a powerful thing. You're normal

  • I do this all the time, especially on the highway. When someone is trying to get somewhere really fast, I like to try to slow them down so they will tell me about their life. Sometimes they want to pull over and occasionally do want to tell me, but sometimes also want to hit me. I mostly win these confrontations, except with state troopers, those dicks carry guns, and I only have a shovel.
