IMHO, music games are good and non-violent fun (Vib Ribbon is like nothing you'll have ever seen before or will ever see again and it's my all-time favourite).
LSD: Dream Emulator isn't something I've played, but I have seen a 'LetsPlay' of it on Youtube and it was absolutely fascinating to watch. It's not violent, either.
Yahtzee Croshaw has actually posed that self same question as you, OP: <a href="http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/extra-punctuation/9334-Non-Violent-Game-Idea-Puppies-in-Hell" rel="nofollow">http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/c...</a>
Is it normal to wish there were more video games that are not violent?

It's not available in the UK AFAIK, however
