I'm a 45 year old male, and I basically grew up during the Reagan-era of the Cold War. I've had a nagging feeling for over 30 years that I'm going to live to see something like a nuclear war or worldwide plague. I don't think it would be "fun" per se, but I do think it would be exciting. I just wish it would hurry up and happen; I'm getting tired of waiting.
ps - for an example as to how close we've come, look up "1983 Soviet nuclear false alarm incident"
Is it normal to wish that an apocolyptic event would happen
