Is it normal to wish my boyfriend would let me (girl) rim him?

(girl) I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and I'd like to think we're quite open minded with sex. We'd been talking for a while about fantasies and he knew how sexy I thought it would be to rim him so one night he let me. He seemed to really enjoy it, (moaning etc.), and afterwards he told me that it felt really nice, but since then he's totally froze up about it. Whenever we've had a drink and he's more relaxed he's really up for it but when we're sober he says that it feels *physically* great but the idea in his head is weird and makes him feel uncomfortable? As you can imagine I love him so I'd never be forceful or pressurise him into doing something he doesn't want to, but I feel like he's constantly changing his mind! I feel like he really enjoys it yet he's letting social views of it being weird or whatever sway him against it, which makes me sort of disappointed cause I love pleasing him and doing it really turns me on and makes me feel even closer to him as it feels like new territory and very intimate/trusting.
I just want to know whether its normal for me to still really wish he would let me do this despite his indecisiveness or whether it's selfish and I should just give up!

It probably is just the social stigma, just gently keep offering every now and then, if he enjoys it enough he will eventually overcome the stigma :)

Stop asking him about it. Just initiate it during sex, and he'll probably go for it every time.

Don't worry, it's perfectly normal. Don't pressure him, but perhaps try to gently reassure and persuade him over time?
