There are reasons why "ghettos" exist and it is not due to the failure of the black "race". Rather, the blame can be placed on those who identify with the white race and its culture. When you look at the history of race relations in this country in addition to the continued structural disadvantages that plague brown-skinned individuals, it is no wonder things are in the current state.
If I were black, which I am not, I would hope that I could understand this, accept it, and try to help my fellow humans understand as well. I wish you peace and hope you find a brighter road ahead. Read Cornell West, William Julius Wilson, Michelle Alexander, and Tim Wise. Maybe that will shed some light on things. Michelle Alexander's recent book, The New Jim Crow, is especially insightful.
