Is it normal to wish for the apocalypse?

A zombie apocalypse won't be how it is in the video games. You won't have unlimited ammo or three lives; and there certainly won't be health packs lying around. You won't be with friends, unless you're lucky. Even if you were to somehow form a group with you're friends, there will always be the underlying tone that at any moment a zombie could come out and devour the people you love. My opinion, stick to playing video games.

I support your wish for an apocalypse. Zombies are fine, Nuclear seems a bit long-lasting...i would most prefer a HEFTY solar storm knocking out all electronic devices for good and mutating some virus into a pandemic thing eliminating 99+% of mankind, with only immune's left(preferably, survival instincts speaking, me among them).

Normal. Nice. But I would prefer apocalypse with no new start. Complete annihilation of everything, including myself and zombies, too. Maybe it would be boring afterwards, but it wouldn´t matter because there would be nobody who could suffer from boredom anymore.

In my city, they hold a yearly event which re-enacts a zombie apocalypse. Part of the city is cordoned off and actors really made up as zombies come for you. The aim is to run and not get caught. Sounds like a lot of fun.
