  • I believe that maybe you don't understand the complexity of genetic disorders, the gene pool or natural selection.

Many genetic disorders are due to homozygous recessive genes. Basically it means that each parent carries a recessive gene which means their child could be born with homozygous recessive genes. This would results in the child receiving and expressing a genetic disorder. You can be a carrier of a recessive gene and not express any type of genetic disorder. But if you have a child with another carrier then it results in the 50%% chance that the child will express the genetic disorder. So you don't have to kill babies with genetic issues this doesn't solve the root of the problem. Might as well just kill anyone that is a carrier of a recessive gene which would probably wipe out humans. Most of us probably have at least one recessive gene. Children with genetics disorder can still have healthy babies. It all depends if their mate has the recessive gene. Plants and other animals have the same issues with recessive genes. Certain plants have actually gotten rid of recessive genes but plants tend to have fewer recessive genes. So you see the genetics is complex and I could write pages and pages of why letting weak and "inferior" babies won't get rid of "bad genes."

Natural selection and evolution will never make the prefect organism or the super man type of human being. Natural selection and evolution can only work with genes that are present in the gene pool. The only way to make genes is mutations. Mutations can be helpful and harmful. Some unlucky ones get harmful mutations, but they still deserve happiness. We all deserve happiness even if we with autism or a genetic disorder.
