Is it normal to wear shoes & socks with shorts

I have a foot problem and I do wear only white socks. I even wear white socks with sandals and shoes even when wearing shorts or just walking around home in my briefs.

Is It Normal?

    I'll be honest, I'm having a huuuuge problem understanding the issue here. What kind of foot problem? If its something confidential then that is fine. Aside from that unknown, everything else sounds normal, you can choose to wear socks or not wear socks with a lot of things. I don't think wearing shorts means that you can't wear shoes and socks and people won't look as if you're dressed like Tidus or something.

      Hi, I have fallen arches and also I do have a allergic reaction to shoe leather and also rubber used in shoes. I have had this problem since I have been a kid. I do also wear arch support in my shoes, my feet do hurt if I don't. Also it seems if I wear colored socks my feet also will develop a rash. The doctor feels it could be the dye used in them that causes that to happen. When I wear just plain white cotton socks it seems I have no problem.

        I see, that sounds unfortunate to deal with. Fortunately, I don't think anyone can spot this problem just by what you're wearing so not only do you have a reason for wearing what you do, no one is going to know, superb deal~

          Hi, I think I am use to having the problem so not too bad to deal with. Yes true no one can spot the problem. Just sometimes feel I look like a nerd I guess wear shoes and socks with shorts. My parents have always told me not to worry about what other people think and my friends have also told me that.I live in Florida so usually always hot here and hate long pants LOL. At home to be honest usually just walk around in my briefs much cooler and do have to wear my shoes and socks when I do that also, really not a big deal.

    NO, WHITE SOCKS!!!! Or socks with sandals. It may be good for letting toenail fungus breath but its very unfashionable.

      I know it is not in fashion, but my feet do kind of hurt if I don't. Get really bad rash all over them and that is not fun at all. I do not have any problem with toenail fungus at all.

      I have fallen arches, I do need to wear supports in my shoes or else my feet do hurt. I have a allergic reaction to shoe leather and the rubber used in them. If I do wear colored socks my feet to react to that also, will break out in a bad rash. The doctor feels this is caused from the dye used in them. Even if I use a powder on my feet they will still react when I wear them. If I wear just plain white cotton socks I do have a problem I have had this problem since I have been a kid.
