I wish I could post pictures in reply. We could have a proper battle with this. By unfortunate circumstance, though, every single thing I am wearing at the moment has only been worn once or twice.
However, in the last week, I threw out my favourite jeans (that eventually had a six inch tear in the crotch area - and bear in mind I don't often wear underwear), my boots (which I melted the glue in when I put them in the washing machine so the soles no longer fitted the uppers) and a shirt with the stains of three different curries (none of which are visible when I wear a jacket). My beloved Air Max 90's (that have had a hole in the sole for six months) have only just been replaced because I stood on a bit of glass while I was wearing them.
Is it normal to wear clothes until they disintegrate?
