Is he religious or not? And if so, he dosent want to be teased about his beliefs. If not, than he dosent wanna talk about how it got on his finger, cus he's embarrassed that someone made him wear it or he was pressured to wear it. I think it's normal. Then again, I dunno the whole story :p
