Because people are horrible, and if you wear something exposing, some people will be aroused by that. Some of those people are rapists. It's not your fault, nor is it entirely your outfit choice's fault either. They may have done it either way. But simply put, wearing revealing clothing makes it more likely for someone to want to do that.
