  • CD does tend to get bent out of shape pretty easy. I know CD and I have butted heads but I don't get upset unless someone hurls the same insult repeatedly.

Dating can be quite an adventure for anyone who is gender-variant (I do not even know what the correct terms are nowadays or even what *I* would be labeled).

I present as a woman full time and prefer dating women. Bisexual women are typically open to things, which might be CD's best shot.

I know anytime men have talked to me, they say, "I have always had this fantasy..." and you probably know the rest. I don't get it, I sure do not look like the porn TS women nor as passable as Laverne Cox.

    • Haha indeed, theres always a new term and someone to offend in this community.

Yea going for bi would definitly be the best bet. More open minded n junk.

Omg I hate that line! Like dudes we arnt here for that!!

I getcha, but I think for those types if you have a penis and boobs that's all they really care about. Most 9f us have our tells withoutba doubt. I envy some of those women sometimes. How could you not?

      • When I started in this life (part time back then), the labels were - transvestite, transsexual, cross dresser, and the word "transgender" was used only occasionally. The first three words seem to have vanished.

I think though the only real disadvantage for those highly passable ones is it would be a bigger shock when they "come out". Which leads to - why do some of the really passable, young, pretty ones get on youtube talking about their transition?
Although there is envy of the best looking TG within our own community, the rest of the world seems to see no difference between the best-passing and the "no way in hell of passing" ones.

        • Yea that's true tg seems to be the only term used anymore. I'll never understand those kids. They have no idea just how dangerous what they are doing is. Maybe itll make there lives easier but chances are itll make it harder for anyone who even looks like them. Still it's easy to envy though. To be able to start at such a tender age. That's the dream right there.

Yea If anything they hate the ones who pass even more, like we are trying to trick them or something. And they fear of ending up with someone like us no matter how much they say then can spot us etc. Its so stupid with those haters.

My personal favorite are the ones who act like they hate us till none of there friends are around. Like yea dude I ain't having sex with you.

          • Something I often think about is how lucky we are to live in a time when many TG and especially LGB can live a relatively normal life. Maybe not in all parts of the country or world but much more than before.
For me, I don't "pass" all that well and certainly not pass without question. Yet, I just live a normal life. I work around the public and don't get harassed. Yeah there is, once in a while, someone who is rude or laughs but that happens to everyone no matter who they are.

BTW, I grew up in the 80's when pretty-boy rock bands were envied yet LGBT was begrudged.

"To be able to start at such a tender age. That's the dream right there."
We may not be kids but I think we are living in an age that our older sisters couldn't have even dreamed of.
