I would say this is a little uncommon, but there's nothing wrong with it. Why not just find a time when you can do it alone by yourself?

You can make it a private little pleasure for yourself, or you can even do it with whomever you feel comfortable.

It's also possible, that when you start doing it, you'll get bored of them and stop worrying about it.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I like it when a guy likes chick flicks although even I don't want to go see every single one.

Chick flicks suck, but it's not worse than watching shitty action movies.
