It's fine on occasion, but you can't stay home all the time. Gotta get out for at least some non-work people contact. After too long of being alone all the time, you develop habits that come out when you're around people, and don't realize it. Talk to yourself, maybe not as upkept or clean as should be, etc.
I work from home and live alone, so, have experience with this. Yes, I honestly do prefer my couch and tv time, as well as working out at home, but have found myself thinking it's normal to go shopping or whatever w/out shaving for days, wearing crappy clothes, and just being not unclean, but, unpresentable in public. Was helping a friend of my sister's wash dishes at a family and friends gathering this past Summer, and instead of mentally commenting on how hot she was, actually said it.
She thanked me and was fine with it, but that's when it hit me..You're not alone at home. There's people around.
No problem on the response. Staying home other than needed things like shopping or family stuff is fine. I used to say, if my car (or, at that point, truck, too) doesn't leave the garage, it's a good day.

Thanks for responding. I get out to go to visit my mother, groceries, shopping for myself, etc. I bathe of course i just prefer to be home.
